Mission Statement

I believe people should live full, genuine lives, free from the suffering of their past and open to healthy, fulfilling connections.

Hi, I'm Paige

I'm a licensed professional counselor, and I specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma. Trauma can come from big life events such as sexual assault, medical issues, natural disasters, accidents, to name a few. It can also happen in a more covert way, such as attachment wounds, challenging breakups, job loss, etc. I also work with helpers, those who care for others through their work or volunteer time, and who experience compassion fatigue. Through EMDR I'll help you feel secure in your body, life, and relationships, learn how to trust yourself and your intuition, and lead the healthy and happy life you deserve. We can work together to help you find the boundaries that keep you safe along with the self-care and self-compassion to maintain them.

Therapy With Me

It can be frustrating to understand something intellectually while still feeling emotionally stuck. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process and integrate unresolved traumatic experiences. When trauma remains unprocessed, it can become isolated from the information we know to be true, contributing to feelings of anxiety, sadness, or disconnection.

Through EMDR, we engage both sides of the brain to support the natural healing process, allowing traumatic memories to be processed without becoming emotionally overwhelming. Our work is grounded in attachment and family systems perspectives, helping you understand how past experiences influence your relationships and decision-making today. Together, we identify patterns that contribute to distress and support you in making choices that align with your authentic self.

EMDR is effective for a wide range of experiences, from single events to complex or long-standing trauma. If an experience was painful or continues to affect you, it deserves care and attention. Our goal is to help you find greater peace with your past, stability in the present, and confidence moving forward.

How it Works

1

Get Started

Call or email me to set up a free initial phone call to make sure we're a good fit. I'll ask about what is bringing you into therapy and we can discuss our schedules to get you get you started.

2

Meet With Me

We'll schedule an initial session. The first few sessions is about gaining a strong understanding of your struggles, your history, and your goals for therapy. We will get to know one another to help you feel safe in my office so that you have the comfort needed to process your painful  experiences.

3

Make a Plan

Once we have a good understanding of you and your needs, we will begin working toward your goals. Please see the EMDR or Individual Therapy pages for more information

The Personal

When I am not seeing clients you can find me enjoying food, drink, and laughs with the people I love. I volunteer in animal rescue and cherish my time with my fellow volunteers helping the rescue cats find loving homes. I am an avid reader and enjoy both fiction and non-fiction. I really value time in nature so I spend a lot of time outdoors in the city parks, on hiking trails, and kayaking various bodies of water. I love to travel and find that exploring new places gives me valuable perspective I otherwise wouldn't have.
